The books on this site
Thank you, Christian.
Every real cover you see across DudeCovers belongs to Christian A. Dumais. He let us put his books on our shelves, tables and windowsills to show what the studio can do, straight from the files he sent to the printer, and his ideas helped shape the studio along the way.

Who he is

Christian A. Dumais is an American writer, editor and speaker who lives in Wrocław, Poland. He has published eight books, from short stories to essays on pop culture, and his work has appeared in Time, Rolling Stone, NPR and on Comedy Central.
He’s the man behind @DRUNKHULK, the Twitter account that turned the Incredible Hulk into a philosopher with a drink in his hand and gathered nearly 200,000 followers. He has given three TEDx talks and performed two sold-out stand-up shows across Poland.
He’s also a self-confessed bibliophile, and that shows in DudeCovers. His ideas and his love of books helped shape the studio itself: what a real copy should look like, and where an author wants to see their book.
For more than twenty years he has helped writers, universities and companies with their English: editing, teaching literature and creative writing, and speaking at festivals and conferences. If your manuscript needs an editor, his editing page is the place to start.
The four on our shelves
Each one dropped into the studio as the file he sent to the printer: the spines, trims and page counts all come from the files.
