DudeCovers is made by one person, and I read and answer every message myself, usually within one working day.
Quick answers
- Which cover file should I use?
- The full wrap you sent to the printer, or the KDP cover PDF, as it is. A front cover alone works too. More on KDP files.
- My spine looks too wide or too thin
- The trim in the studio doesn’t match the file. Pick the trim you published at, or set the spine from your page count. How spines are worked out.
- Pro and billing
- Pro opens soon. Until then every Pro option is free to try on the canvas; the export carries a small preview tape. See pricing.
- Where do my files go?
- Nowhere. Your cover stays in your browser and the picture is made on your own computer.
